Vacation Bible School Parables: Stories Jesus Wants You to Know was the theme of Vacation Bible School 2021. Monday through Thursday, June 14-17, eleven children and youth gathered on the church lawn to tie dye shirts, make planters, paint treasure chests, go on a treasure hunt and eat dirt cake at the Great Feast. All of the fun was designed to teach eleven parables. Our Youth VBS met on June 23 to watch the first Star Wars Movie and enjoy Tacos in a Bag. Pastor Scott joined in the VBS fun. Thanks to Marj Passini for assisting and sharing her tie-dye skills to make VBS shirts.

Our VBS participants were inspired by the Parable of the Good Samaritan. Donations can be made to support Family Promise and its work with the homeless on the NSUMC website.
